授業の概要 及びねらい	This course will be taught in English and focuses on gaining knowledge of critical issues in countries around the world. Students will hear about general issues from the lecturer and then in groups, discuss the issues, compare them to local issues and think about solutions.

授業の 到達目標	1.Gain an overview of world issues 2. Gain an understanding of local issues 3. Learn about aspects of world cultures 4.Learn about the history and culture of Saga and Kyushu 5.Compare Japan and the World in aspects of nutrition, music, food, lifestyles and culture. While learning about Japanese culture and Japanese life, international students will share their own culture with Japanese students and all students will be able to reflect on similarities and differences.
学習方法	Lecturers will firstly present the topics to the students. This will be followed by question time, group work and group discussions.
テキスト及び 参考書籍	Students are NOT required to buy a set textbook. A USB should be purchased to save the power point presentation slides.
